A basic meatloaf flavored with Sloppy Joe sauce -- inside and on the top
To make 1 cup fresh bread crumbs, tear 2 slices firm bread into quarters and place in food processor. Pulse quickly to make crumbs. Bread, just beginning to dry out, works best.
Makes: 8 servings (1 slice each)

Why does the recipe say to spray a13x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray but then tell you to shape meat mixture into a 9x5 inch rectangular baking dish ?????

All the men in my house (a husband and three boys of various ages) LOVE this recipe. They all get so excited whenever I make this recipe. I like my meat a little more cooked, which isn't a problem since the manwich keeps it very moist and juicy, so I raise the oven temperature to 400. Other than that, keep it as is. Super easy and always a hit.

This is probably the best meatloaf recipe I've tried. Only issue I've had was it was a bit too wet. I also added a teaspoon of garlic powder and a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. That gave it a nice flavor.

I found the recipe on a can of Manwich years ago. Since then, it's the only way I will make meatloaf. Love the flavor!
